Hello! This is the page where I will be archiving content related to Blues For The Martyrs & My Science
Blues (For the Martyrs) was a band from Tucson, AZ that started in mid-2004. They had a lot of lineup changes within the first 12 months, and the only members that stuck around until (at least) the last archival snapshot (4/11/06) are Dusty (vocals), Nick (guitar/vocals), and Jeremy (guitar/vocals). The band’s original Myspace page was created on 7/20/04. On the first saved archive of their Myspace, they described their sound as "hardcore and noisy metal.", as well as stating that they “make noise". Blues For the Martyrs seemed to be popular around the time of their activity in the local Tucson scene. A few of their influences from their long list include but are not limited to: Botch, These Arms Are Snakes, Converge, Drive Like Jehu, and AC/DC. In April 2006 they shortened their name to just Blues. They started selling merch, though only at their shows and maybe a couple personal sales online via PayPal as stated in their profile. On April 12, 2010 they changed their name again to My Science and completely archived their web presence as Blues (For the Martyrs).
